CJDJ500 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Boston Street Circuit

Boston is an amazing city. I have always wanted to go there ever since I first saw the scenery there. From the urban parks and surburban areas to the towering city centre buildings. But what if some sort of motorsport went there? Like ALMS, Rolex Sports Car Series or Grand Am, for example. But if it WAS to head there and I got to choose the track route it would look like the image below this thread. It has 19 corners and runs in an anticlockwise direction, but because of my computer not having Google Earth, I don't know the proper track length (I think it is around 2.2-2.6 miles long). Some of the best parts of the track include just after turns 1 and 10, where 2 bridges cross the same river to access further areas of the track, and in between turns 17 and 18, the cars run underneath Boston's main motorway leading to downtown Boston (where the track is also run), and the turn 12/13 section runs past the rings fountain, on the outside of the track. Who knows, if this track will be born or if it will just be another concept to reconsider.

This one looks just about perfect to me.

According to Gmaps, it's about 6.3 km, that's about 3.9 miles.

Boston! A city I lived in on and off for 5 years and always wondered about holding a race there. I was even sick enough to scout one of my layouts one day to see if it would actually be feasible (the first one below, it's a little different than my first iteration many years ago)

Here's a few from around "The Hub"

Downtown Circuit
4.100km / 2.548mi
Direction: Clockwise
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5571861
Some long straights, a tight hairpin, varying track widths, and a TON of elevation change.

Fenway Park Circuit
2.540km / 1.578mi
Direction: Counterclockwise
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5571866
Runs on the roadways around Fenway Park, since 1912 the home of the Boston Red Sox! I know this one is short, but due to the surroundings I can't realistically make it longer... not that it's realistic anyway

Columbus Park Circuit
5.099km / 3.168mi
Direction: Counterclockwise
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5571887
A couple of long straights with some interesting corners... and a FULL rotary (like a roundabout, only bigger), a Massachusetts roadway staple.

I have always toyed with the idea of a street race around Columbus Park.
Ever since I visited a few years back. Here is my idea. Obviously its anti-clockwise. The idea that the Bay Side Expo centre (and its car park) could hold the majority of the paddock area with an over spill on the car park next to St Christopher's Church. Also the kink on the main straight after the hairpin would be more or less straight. Obviously would need widening than what is currently shown on Google maps/G-maps. The main overtaking opportunity would be the Turn 5 Hairpin, and the turn 7 & 8 sections. I think that it would be ideal for a double header weekend utilizing Indycar & ALMS.

Good ideas you've got going on there!
