kmchow should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good quality models?

On my holidays recently, I managed to stumble onto a great 1/18 Classic Carlectable model of a '99 DJR Ford. I managed to score it for just $20 AUS.

I ran into several samples of car earlier, but noticed paint smudges and/or small minute missed paint spots. Are Classic Carlectables cheap/poor models? I guess Biante are the best. Naturally, they also cost the most!!

I dunno, they're all pretty good, but $20...thats a bargain...

I'm going to buy the Wakefield/Ambrose one when it comes out

wow..you got a great deal there kmchow.

I have some 1/43 scale cars I think thats what they are anyway and I paid anywhere from $30 to $40 oz dollars for them ..so i think you did very well.

there are some shockers out there thats for sure but there are some good ones as well..I have the Classic collectable ones and they are pretty good for the price ..but the big ones are fantastic detail but are pretty costly over here.

I was disappointed to discover the doors and engine bay don't open up on the 1/18 Classic Carlectables? I was tempted to pick up a few 1/64 and 1/43 ATCC cars as well. I regret not doing so!

Why aren't there any tamiya or other models out there to build and not just buying diecast models.

Not enough interest outside of Australia ?

Same reason we can't get a decent V8 Supercar Video Game.
