Maybe I have a case of looking and not seeing, but where does it say that he is going to be driving the 888 car?
I had heard that the car maybe was heading somewhere else.

As I mentioned yesterday, i was at the launch today and John drove the car into the forecourt/car park wth the number 888 - he confirmed this is the number he is running with next year.

I will have photos of the car/Bowe on the web site later.

So John is moving up in the world (from 600 to 888). I'd hate to see the next number he uses.

Remember that 600 was a direct CAT reference though and had nothing to do wth John at all.

excellent news..it will be great to see John back in the series as I think he is a great driver ..and hopefully with all his experience he will help the Jones brothers move up the grid a bit more ...the team seem to be on an upward spiral..lets hope they can keep it going.

Excellent!
If there were 'good guy' points, this team will now win hands down.
Kudos to Ozemail for reinforcing/increasing their commitment to motorsport.
Question - how is John going to balance working for both Ozemail and PHR (especially if/when PHR get their soupcar team up)?

I think with the departing of Noske Snr that PHR have abandoned their V8 Supercar plans for now. I noticed they were selling of a couple of their nice big red trucks in Auto Actio na wek or two ago.

Perhaps Brad Jones has bought their new AU and to put Bowe in ?

I think you'll find that the PHR V8 will be going elsewhere next season. BJR has had 2 cars all year, and could probably have a new in house car online by the start of next season.

Interesting to read today that the Mustang will be up-specked to the Nations Cup, and PHR will run 2 of them, as well as 4 Ferraris.
