The #52 GreenBrave Toyota Mark X MC. It's real, and it's at Tokyo Auto Salon.

The names above the drivers' door: Takayuki Hiranuma and Taku Bamba.

Honda's 2017 lineup:

ARTA - Tomoki Nojiri / Takashi Kobayashi
Mugen - Hideki Mutoh / Daisuke Nakajima
Keihin - Koudai Tsukakoshi / Takashi Kogure
Epson - Bertrand Baguette / Kosuke Matsuura
Raybrig - Naoki Yamamoto / Takuya Izawa

No change in tyre suppliers from 2016 for ARTA (BS), Keihin (BS), Epson (DL), or Raybrig (BS).

Subaru's 2017 lineup: Takuto Iguchi / Hideki Yamauchi. Dunlop tyres once again, and Yamauchi will also drive for Subaru in the Nürburgring 24H.

The Mark X looks good. Reminds me of the Subaru B4 GT300. Hope it goes as well as it looks.

According to Twitter rumor,
SUBARU Hideharu Tatsumi general director says that BRZ GT300 won't become AWD at Tokyo Auto Salon.
So it seems that transaxle gearbox will be introduced.

No.
Drive system won't be changed. So BRZ will remain in FR.
However, drivetrain will be changed. So BRZ will introduce transaxle layout gearbox.

Super GT File magazine reports SGT 2017 sporting regulations.
*Mandatory tire change in the time of pit stop including driver change might be introduced in GT300 from this season.
*As for Suzuka 1000km, mandatory 4 times pit stop might be introduced.
*Mandatory tire change in the time of pit stop including driver change might be introduced in Suzuka 1000km also in GT500 class.

Basically, no more fuel-only stops, and one less mandatory pit stop at the 1000km (it was 5 mandatory stops last year.)

I'm not sure if I like this to be honest.

That should help with an ideal weight balance.

Kinda sad to hear no more single tire stints, but at least everyone has to change so we'll see everyone get fresh tires. I like the drop to 4 mandatory stops at Suzuka 1000km.

So that means we won't see anything like the 2 unexpected wins by Kondo Racing and VivaC team's aggressive fuel only strategies next year

Does Super GT have soft and medium compound tires? Since tire changes are mandatory, why not implement a red/super soft tire. Sure they life expectancy is shorter but will lap times will be quicker. Also it will make the battles even more intense.

Yes.
You can choice tire from multiple compound although no eye-catching marking.
(In first stint of final race, you have to use the tire used at Qualifying session.)

Mandatory tire change will be introduced in all round of GT300 class.
But, in GT500 class, it will be introduced only in Suzuka 1000km.
So Kondo can try no-tire-change strategy in other races.

That's good. I think it would be a tough ask for anyone to do the whole Suzuka 1000 with the same tire.
