24thunder should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Dale Jarrett's win?

I sure thought Ricky Rudd was gonna win at Pocono,if it hadn't been 4 that tire going down.I've heard several posters mention that Mark Martin could very well have won.
Ur thoughts on these possible winners or was there some1 else that U thought had a gud chance of winning it?

Ricky would have won had it not been for his tire going down on him. Mark Martin said in the post-race interview that he didn't have anything for the 88 and seemed to be very pleased with his second place finish.

Also heard Mark wasn't real pleased about the mysterious debris caution while he was leading that just so happened to keep the #24 & the #8 from going a lap down.

debris caution.

Lars--I've heard that in many posts on several boards but don't understand how the #24,wudn't know abt the #8,cud've went a lap down because when that caution came out He was running as fast as the leaders if not faster?

RE:Joe Fan.

Ricky Rudd can't seem to buy a break this year,I think it might have contributed to His earlier comments abt possible retirement,IMO!

I didn't actually see the race (I was listening on the radio), I'm just going by what I've read and was told. I guess Mark was putting a whoppin' on when that caution came out & I guess it wasn't too long after Gordon locked up his brakes coming into the pits. I'm amazed Gordon wasn't still a lap down after all the green flag stops were made.

RE:Lars

Jeff Gordon never went a lap down in that race, was just close to going 1 down as was the #8 Whom was behind the #24 at the time when the debris caution came out. It's a hot topic on others boards with a lot of threads concerning it because there was never any video footage showing evidence of debris & therefore many fans thought it was just another late caution to take the fuel mileage question 4 some teams out of the equation & to bunch the cars up on restart 4 a more exciting ending, also many claim this wasn't the 1st that NASCAR has done this sort of thing.Personally I don't really hold with any conspiracy theorys on NASCAR's part but that's just My opinion!
