Brighton speed trials

D'ont forget, anyone who wants a change from watching circuit racing should get along to the Brighton seafront speed trials on saturday the 13th september, i promise you some of the machinery will blow you away. from royal enfield bikes to the latest nitro burning Hiabusas, and cars from bog standard to full nitro funny cars (well at least one) and the best thing is you miss nothing the balcony overlooks the whole 1/4 mile.I have been a lover of motorsport for 35 years and believe me this is one event i would never miss.

One of those events I've always meant to go and see or take part in. So many events so little time.

Anyone out there know how the drag bike rider is doing after his rather nasty looking of at the start, i know he was moving so that is allways a good sign,it happened right in front of us and as i love the drag bikes and allways get a couple of shots in sequence of them leaving the start i fear i may have a couple of shots of his incident. If anyone knows him then wish him well and the way he left the line he must surelly of been a contender for fastest time.
i know you read most posts Stephen (green) i presume you did not marshall this year, but would just like to say from a spectators point of view what a first class job marshalls do at events like this, you are a credit to your orange overalls
