And I guess the other guy is unhappy if not on top of the rostrum. Coz some people see it this way: "Show me a happy second – and you show me the born looser!"…

George is 19th after timed practice here in Norway. Getting used to the Xsara under the watchful eye of its previous owner JMC, George hopes to push hard in Heat 1 which is about to begin. A spin in free practice this morning was the only blemish in what has been a steady introduction to his new mount! Heat 1 about to start so have to fly... more news later

No didn't get lost.. just sampling the local brew. Anyway back to the race, George made a fantastic start in heat one and was lying third after completing the joker lap when a coming together with a SAAB resulted in the Xsara hitting the barrier and ruining any chance of a good time. The Division boys are mental

9.30am.. Norway.

Groan, too much Borg ... head is thumping and the rain has arrived so the learning curve in the new mount has got steeper as George heads out for practice on diamond tyres. The action should be good today.More news in a while.....

After Heat 2

While leading Heat 2 comfortably in atrocious conditions here Momarken, George spun on his joker lap which put paid to any realistic chance of making a C Final. George is now lying 20th with Heat 3 shortly.

My crystal ball is seemingly still clear. If nothing changes Tommy Rustad will be the winner.

Result on ERC 24, Rustad won from Eriksson, Larsson, Hansen, Isachsen and Radstrom. A final stopped early as Hansen had a big off and damaged car badly.

There is something wrong here. ERC24 have Rustad and Isachsen in B-final, bouth can't be in the A-final. And Bermingrud was in the A-final.

ERC24 seem to have messed up Rustad and Isachen, but now Erikson has been declared the winner !!!!

The problem with the ERC24 live section is that the qualification points system is not perfectly programmed yet. In case of ex-aequo results the system shows sometimes the wrong following orders. And why Rustad has 9 points instead of just 1 from the 3rd heats I don’t know yet.

Sorry wireless connection was iffy yesterday afternoon and I was a drowned rat.. unreal rain! No final for GT due to more contact in Heat 3, this ERC is a tough game I tell you! Full reports on George's site shortly. Hansen had a major accident, the track was like a swimming pool for the A final
