I don't know who told you that but F3 Open dropped Nurburgring from its provisional calendar early-ish in the New Year, and British F3 took the slot.

Oh, ok John. Heard various different rumours really, but basically the lack of F3/GT is the reason for no TV coverage this weekend.

If there is no other championship with TV coverage on the same bill, this is what happens. Makes F2 look like a bit of a joke really. |

Has anyone seen the onboard footage of Theobald's roll at Nurburgring? Pretty cool footage!

Why Jolyon didn't race at Nürburgring?

The Theobald roll actually looks pretty spectacular on the TV coverage, which I think goes out on Saturday at 15.45 UK time on Motors TV, and again on Sky Sports 2 on Tuesday at 9pm.

He wasn't fast enough to compete, so would be bad PR to put him in the race. Hence why story was completely erased from official F2 site, thank goodness Daddy owns the series so they can manipulate all the official media coverage.

Cool thanks. Reckon it's Bortolotti's to lose now really - unless he realy screws up the last few rounds.

Luciano Bacheta apparently joins the series for Austria:
