What Type of Auto Lubricants Do You Use?
What type of engine oil and transmission fluids do you use in your vehicle and why?
I prefer running extended service synthetic oils myself... My first choice is Amsoil... |

I use semi syn in diesel and petrol engines on all road vehicle servicing (basically because of price) and Motul fully syn in race engines with added ZX1. As to why ? if it ain't broke don't fix it ! Most modern hydraulic tappet engines don't like standard multi grade mineral oils as they can cause bad running and stalling problems as the lifters tend to over-pump especially when cold.
