test should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
legal way to watch?

Hello everyone,

is their a chance to watch the btcc (and dtc) in a legal way? I mean without proxy or P2P Stream or Torrent Pages.
I visited the ITV 4 Page to look the BTCC Highlights, but its only for british people. I wanna see some BTCC Stuff, too and their is no local broadcaster here.
I can understand that their is no live streaming because of the other broadcaster somewhere, but the highlights either? Thats a shame, the best TouringCar Series cant be watched in other big countries.

If someone can help me.... please do it!

stedevil has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I believe DTC (Danish TCC) is available on their webpage "proxy free".

In Germany the BTCC is shown on Discovery Turbo.
Not sure about France.

In Germany there is no Channel called Discovery Turbo.
First Air Date was scheduled @ the 1st January, but the Channel never started. I heard a new Air Date, mid autumn 2008.

i know that you can get with a littlebit luck ITV 4 @ Astra 2D 28,3° in Germany, but i can't adjust every time the dish antenna.
This situation is making me sick.
BTCC managers, please give the tv rights next time to MotorsTV or Premiere or give us a stream. I would pay für this!

Nope, that wouldn't be legal, nor allowed by this forums rules to post that link.

Then again, even spreading private footage you recorded yourself is illegal according to FIA :-/

...that's disappointing as they are the rights-holders for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In France I'm told it's on one of the Canal+ channels.

dj4monie is heading for a stewards' enquiry!
Fooy!

illegal this, illegal that, nobody is making a profit here, where's the law being broken? Get us out Iraq that's FAR more important than what goes on the "internets".

The problem with most of this stuff, is that programers and series leaders feel there's very little interest in their regional series outside of its region.

BBC America is QUITE popular here, so that argument goes out the window and is not because of the MILLION of exPat Brits in America and Canada.

This is driven by the distaste of all things NASCAR, the unifed but yet to be solved deep issues with open wheel and the desire to see more ALMS but limited to maybe 1 race a month until Le Mans.

Plus Speed shows us many of these series MONTHS after they have ended like nobody has access to the internet.

This is where the "new" network will address these issues.

If you know how Torrents work and know how the internet works, then you won't have the local police or federal government breaking down you door to arrest you for downloading and watching the BTCC races at Croft for FREE, you didn't pay for it and nobody is profiting.

You can download I don't know how many Nintendo and Playstation games and until recently only Nintendo was freaked out by it and tried to shut down every portal you could get it from. Now the Wii has sold so well, they have largely ignored it and in fact have embraced it by making these games available on their own servers FOR PROFIT.

I am not a "fug the man" type of person, but I understand how profits works and how the new thing in the 21st Century is putting a price on intellectual properties.

ITV is not loosing money or earning money from Torrents and the Brick and Mortar model of the 19th Century does not apply in the digital age.

"Off Soap Box"

I have watched and will continue I refuse to play by Speed's rules of "Forgotten shows on the DVR" game.

I'll be watching Croft sometime, ummm Sunday night..

And the web site has been posted before I will not post it myself, do not PM me as most of you are leechers and don't upload any content.

I'm from Germany, too. No Chance to see the BTCC live here
That Alan Gow sold the TV coverage to an inexistent TV station.... It's a pity
