Seton's damaged car ?

Since there is only a bit under 2 weeks till indy, if the team can't repair it in time, can he go back to a AU or not ?
I heard somewhere that once you go to a BA you cannot go back.
They will have to get there fingers out at FPR if they are going to fix it in time, since they will only have approximatly 6 - 7 days to have it done ready to go.

The car is hurt, a week in a panel shop and it will be good as new... but here's hoping the upweighted level of silver service afforded car 6 at the weekend is sustained for cars 5 6 and 19 for the balance of the season and beyond

Car 5 was segregated from the rest of the mob, and had a crew who may or may not have had a prodrive motor or 3 laying around

At the press conference Murph gave a rundown on their timetable for the coming weeks -
Start work on the cars Tues.
Work everyday until Sun.
Load car for GC on Mon.
Leave GC for NZ.
These pit crew guys do NOT get enough recognition for the work they put in.

We passed the KKRT transporter heading for Melbourne on Sunday night around 11pm.... so the truckie didnt even get to share an ale or three

HRT, BJR and Murf's Porsche mob were headed back on the Monday that we noticed...

yes i agree, having a race at surfers just 2 weeks after bathurst seems a bit strange. Especially for the VIC based teams, who will have hardly any time to prepare their cars before they head off for the GC again. then another 2 weeks until NZ? Crazy!

#15 car needs plenty of work before the next round, so that is why KRT were heading back so soon no doubt.

They have a spare car so its not totally serious if they cant fix it.

I felt so sorry for Cam McLean after that... all those nice TAB bets lost
