Are Pirtek gone completely?
Wondering if anyone else has heard if Pirtek are gone from the sport entirely, or could they end up on another Ford team's livery in '06 either sponsoring just one of their cars or sharing space with the team's current sponsor?

They're not jumping ship if that is what you are implying. They left SBR because they were leaving the sport.

Sorry, James. Not so. Glenn Duncan (MD) hasn't ruled out some smaller sponsorship of another team, or teams. Pirtek has had a brief, informal chat with at least one other team since Bathurst - and it wasn't a Ford team.

I don't know whether Pirtek will or won't have any sponsorship involvement with any car or team next year, but I know with certainty that the end of the Pirtek / SBR wasn't because 'they were leaving the sport'.
