Bryan Degerlund should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Tony Scott

Tony Scott sadly passed away last Tuesday. Formerly a BARC Startline marshal and more recently a Judge for the BARC at Brands Hatch and Club Steward at Sprints and Hillclimbs throughout the South-east of England, Tony was a quiet and private person who had been involved with motosport officiating for many years.

There will be a service at Eltham Crematorium on Thursday 20th April for anyone wishing to attend.

I am saddened to hear that Tony has passed away.He was one of the first friendly faces at my first BARC meeting at Brands Hatch many years ago.Although his health was poor recently he carried the aches and pains with fortitude remaining cheery and positive. My condolences to friends and family.

That's very sad - another of the old, friendly faces gone. Tony was a gentleman in both senses of the word.

Having only met Tony not so many years ago, in his capacity as a Judge at Lydden, I do not feel able to make a significant contribution.

However, as a Lydden regular I feel sure my colleagues would wish to join me in passing on our condolences.

RIP Tony.

Morning everyone.

I remember Tony well from when he came down to Sandown Park Kart Club as an Official.

I also met him at Brands quite a few times.

We often took time out and had a chat.

Very sad news Bryan and thank you for letting us all know.

He will be missed very much indeed.

Rest in Peace Tony.
