10TENTHS should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Fielding finished 9th, 8th and 7th in those races.

Meanwhile, Colton Herta swept qualifying at Snetterton: http://www.paddockscout.com/colton-h...la-poles/29695

Herta wins 2 out of 3, Ticktum takes the other race to close up the championship chase: http://msaformula.com/win-number-two...le/?tr=426&sr=

Does anyone know much about how the Racing Steps are assessing their drivers from this series for next year, you can see that there is a big difference between running with a top team (and we can see the professional difference in these teams) and running elsewhere, not many of these drivers overtake, look at croft on the reverse grids, look at some of those who qualify at the back making up 6-8 places in races...there were some strange driving standards this weekend and some that seemingly got unpunished.
It is a shame that the damage bills are also so high on cars and also that there seem to have issues with gear change/sync issue which was poor that a number of drivers was moaning about at the weekend.

Josh Smith is the only RSF driver in MSA Formula. His teammate Daniel Ticktum doesn't seem to be having any trouble, so Smith's backing for 2016 may be in doubt. Hard to say at this point.

I have to say, to put it mildly, Smith has been very underwhelming so far this season.

Some drama in today's race as Ticktum and Collard collide, while Herta loses the win to Norris for exceeding track limits. http://www.paddockscout.com/norris-r...-collide/29909

I used to run his Dad in some F4 races in 2008. They are a nice family who wouldnt be racing if it wasnt for RSF. Give Josh a bit of slack, he is very young and only got a deal sorted just before the start of the season so is playing catch up as he didnt have a pre season like the others. He needs another year to really show his potential IMHO

That's fair enough, and i dare say he will get another year, i think his main problem is just how blindingly fast Ticktum has been in the same team.
