Nick Kirby should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BTCC final round

Ok, who's ready for the final rounds of the BTCC? Who do you think will win, Plato or Giovanardi? and what about the Clio Cup and Formula Renault?

Think Mr Cooke should be stopped from rotating and so stop his gravitational field!!!!!!!

I'm in the Plato camp, and this will be my first BTCC meeting in orange and never having been to Thruxton before it should be quite an adventure (along with a hefty 4hr drive)

The only thing I ask for is that the lovley Miss Leggate should have a good result, but if she is to continue her bad luck, she comes off on my corner

I really really want Plato to win , but I recall Gio doing really well at Thruxton earlier in the year.

As for the CLio's..........how manic are they going to be

Can't wait !!!!

Hi Rosie,
But didn`t plato get a penalty as he stalled his car on the grid as they went off on the green flag lap.
i remember it well,as i was on front grid fire cover.
So as long as he don`t get any problems,i think plato will do it.

Darren
4Hr drive for you, well it will be well worth the drive, this is the 4th BTCC this season for me.

Also i heard a rumour that there will be a bit of an end of season party on the sunday.
Anyone heard anything similar
For those who are going, will see ya there.

Nick,

Well almost, I have an allergic reaction to staying in anything that hasn't got a double bed and an ensuite, so I will be in a travelodge, I am considering a Caravan next year to keep costs down.

I've been to most of the BTCC this year as a spectator, only started Marshalling in August, hoping to do more BTCC next year.

Post 15 Church in: the fastest corner in the UK, you are in the dip though so can't see the rest of the track.

Surprisingly my vote would go for Post 12.

Darren,

If you have a Track Pass (like I have) as well as your tickets your will be on a post between Post 5 and Post 18. Therefore, there is a chance you will get to experience the fast sweeps that make Thruxton Thruxton! No track pass means between Post 19 and 4.

Hope you enjoy visiting us 'Southern Softies'.

The meeting will be a cracker, I am cheering for Plato. Fingers crossed the weather is kind to us.

Got mine about a week ago, no track pass, just one for Marshals car park. Never been to Thruxton before either, coming with other half and we will be camping.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.

don`t know if you know where the camping area is,but go up the main drive way and there will be a sign on the right saying `Marshals Camping`.
There is running water in that area, toilets close by and the showers are behind pit lane garages.

got my tickets already but no track pass,so looks like i`ll be around the front of the circuit again.

Thanks for that didn't know where it was.

There is running water in that area - what's that mean? Camping over a river ? ,toilets close by - that's good not too far to run after all the beer/wine/champagne then and the showers are behind pit lane garages - luxury!!
