On my ticket letter it says Flag - 16. Does that mean I'm on post 16 if so where is it?

Also how do I get to the campsite???

Everyone could pop across from oulton to three sisters on the Sunday to marshal at the sprint instead of having a beer day at oulton!

No, 16 is the number assigned to flag on the north-west volunteering database from which the ticket labels will have been printed.

Hm, thermals or tshirts this weekend. If you believe the forecast, we should be shovelling snow off the track! Ha, who would think it eh, snow, at Easter! (ps - I was there in in 76 at F5000 meeting)
ANyhow, looks like a busy weekend for everyone. See you Friday!

I remember waking up to snow on Easter Sunday the year Hunter Abbott flipped his car.

Spectating on Monday for me (forgot to volunteer, like an eejit!). Meeting up with friends and playing with the camera on the other side of the fence will make a nice change!

Late Volunteering - What's the best thing to do

I volunteered late for Oulton Park at Easter (12 days before the event)

I've written an email to the normal ticket organiser but not heard a thing back yet.

Am I OK to just turn up on Monday (only day I can make it) and hope that some nice person lets me in, or blag a spare ticket at the gate.

What have other people done in the past?
Any ideas and thoughts please ?

Or does anyone have a phone number of someone that I should call ?

For those who have not yet got tickets (this week I have, but my guest ticket has already been requested), you need to contact Margaret Simpson, the Chief Marshal. Apparently the e-mail for this event is opmarshals@msvracing.co.uk

BTW, for those who are going straight to the gate, we are going through East Gate this time with sign on at the 4x4 hut, so if someone offers you a ticket to pick up at the gate, that's where you need to go.

East gate is the one at lodge and the 4x4 hut is the green shed opposite race control and the pit lane, sure you will see the bright orange crowd first

At the end of the Coach Road, instead of turning right as usual, turn left. You'll see, just past the junction, a road off to the right. As you turn into the road you'll see almost immediately an entrance on the right. After the ticket booths turn left & drive on for 50 metres or so & you'll see the 4 x 4 hut on your right. Go past the hut & park on the grass.

My stuff is at home but I will check for ya when I get home from work unless someone else can help beforehand. 7.15 sounds vaguely familiar though!
