50-SIX should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Which circuit for NWFF?

Does anyone know for sure which circuit layout we are using at Oulton on April 24th. I've just been on the mst website and noticed they have the first round down as oulton island. Does anyone know whether this is correct, Diz?

I hope so, I would much prefer the rounds at Oulton to be on Island and Int.

MST have got it wrong. This is normal, as the layout they specify tends not to be the one that is actually used.
I have it, from the mouth of Tom Dooley this morning, that the first round is definitely on Fosters. Decisions on the layouts to be used at the remaining meetings have not been made yet [by the powers that be in West Malling that is].
Centralisation rules OK

I can't think of one good reason why anyone would want to race on the 'international circuit'.
Island is a fabulous corner and makes up for Foulston's and Knicker being a pain in the butt.
Cascades on the Fosters circuit is great if you getit right.
The best I can do at the Island hairpin is not go straight on and scrabble round!

I absolutely love the the international circuit. cascades is a ***** to get right and can so easily chuck you off. But island bend followed by the banked hairpin is brilliant. The chicanes are a pain but i do think they have improved the knickerbrook chicane. There is also a few more oppertunities to pass on the longer layouts.

Oulton is good in 2 ways:1 International Cicuit (offers every challenge available)
2 Fosters (keeps you busy and is challenging in its own way)

Island was only found by those TOCA woosies in mid 90s when they could'nt face the challenge of the proper Island bend)

kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Fosters is so tight that it makes it more of a processional track and very easy to defend on.

The longer configurations are much more challenging with, shock horror', a couple of proper left handers in to stop you going dizzy.

I think I got it the wrong way round... the one I don't like is Island, all the good work done around Cascades comes to nought when you have to turn right at 'Island hairpin'

Good overtaking opportunity at Island hairpin if you are a bit commited and brave. Big stops from fast stuff is always an opportunity for fun surely?

Contact between 50-SIX and my car is a no no. The yellow Van Dieman seems to be perfect at knocking our nose box clean off!!!
