Van Diemen RF98 Clutch bleed???
Just aquired a Formula Renault Van Diemen RF98 2ltr with LD200 gearbox.
All I need to do is bleed the clutch slave cylinder. Am I looking in the wrong place, but I can't find a bleed at the bellhousing. The slave fluid pipe is plain to see. Do I just loosen the fitting and bleed from there? Please help - 1st Hillclimb at end of March! |

Don't waste the poor thing rushing up hills, bring it out in BARC Renault where it belongs !! Just for the record, which one is it and who were the previous owners, we like to keep a record of where all the cars are. |

Thanks for the info - i'll have a closer look.
Car was run by JA Motorsport and I'm led to believe won the championship in 2000. Last owned/raced by John Barnes from Reading in 2004 I think. I'll def come to see some barc renault meetings this season - who knows what might happen? |

Ah yes, I know the car, there was two of them painted silver and blue. The trouble with watching is that it is easy to phsych yourself out, in all my racing years I have frightened myself a number of times when watching, but never driving. Bring your car along to a test day on the day before a BARC FR round and see how it all feels then.
