RaceFanStan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ahhhhhhhh, Bristol

I just wanted to let everyone know (and maybe brag a little bit, lol).
I'm going to Bristol next weekend !!!
3 of my buddys and I are going down Friday for qualifying,
then the Busch race & Happy Hour on Saturday,
and then the Cup race on Sunday,
then back home after the race.
Bristol is apr. 210 miles south of us, we will be staying at a ski lodge near the top of Banner Elk in NC Friday & Saturday nights, a lot of traveling but Bristol is so worth it !!!
We have made at least one weekend at Bristol for the last 4 years.
It's going to be Party Time !!! LMAO
We always try to take plenty of beer, LOL.

Surprised Rosie didn't ask you to post a full report about the race weekend Stan...since she didn't, guess I will. Full report about the weekend is a requirement. *G*

I LOVE Bristol !!!

That's Cool Lars,
I'm taking my 10x Digital Camera and 20 floppys with me, I hope to get some good pics, I'll be sitting coming out of turn 2, 23 rows up, (pretty good seats) we have sat there before, (one of my buddy knows a lady who gets season tickets but usually doesn't go to the spring race), usually a lot of action there, lol. The full report should include on track action and quite a bit of beer drinking, lol.

Bristol

We're in between rains right now. If you are coming to Bristol before Friday, you better bring your waders. If you are planning on camping near the race track you better call ahead or get their early because a lot of spaces are under water at this time. Supposed to get more rain tonight through Thursday. The weather looks dry for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but a little cool-cold in the mornings warming up into the 50's during the day. We've been in a drought for 3 years and this week was the week that the weather decided to change. Lots of flooding in the area-schools closed, highways under water, camp grounds under water, hospitality area under water. With more rain on the way, campers could be hurting even if they have a reservation at one of the campgrounds.
