I do think i have read somewhere that Ollie have his sight on the ERC 2008. Together with Evans and Tony Bardy. With the Kuypers Focus he will have a top ERC car.

Dont think Evans and Badt need a better ERC car than the one they have got really, the Astra seems prety competetive with most other cars around really.

Sachweh goes pretty well in his and Evans has beaten Hansen over here after all, so not sure why Chriw and Bardy would be looking at something differetn after all the investment in the AStras

I don't think there was a suggestion that Evans and Bardy were looking for new cars, O'Donovan was mentioned in reference to the Kuypers car and I read it as Evans and Bardy are going to have a crack at the ERC next year as well (in the Astra).

Wasn't there a rumour a few years ago that Austin Machale was looking into doing rallycross as rallying was too time consuming?

Deary me, i cant really understand posting something like that, i get rollocked for commenting about it yet people are allowed to continually post rumoured "i know but you dont" posts.

Whats the point in posting a comment when you have no intention of revealing your news. If these people want to keep things to themselves then do it privately. Its very annoying to those people that arent in the inner sanctum.

Completely agreed. 10-10ths is predominantly made up of enthusiasts who engage in conversation/debate because they're genuinely interested in the subject. Its not fair and its not right to be messing them around. Maybe the mods can take a look at this thread.

There is nothing inherently wrong with this thread if you take it with a pinch of salt. It can be good fun hazarding guesses as to who might have bought which car, (or not as the case may be)

If you look at it with the attitude of 'they know and I'm going to get in a huff if they don't tell me' then I suggest you ignore these type of threads

A problem only really arises when something is revealed that is really supposed to be kept secret until all is signed and sealed.
I'm fairly certain that, that is not the case with this thread. So let's have a bit of fun speculating as to who is getting what, and look forward to the official announcement when it comes.

I'll hazard a guess. An Irishman looking at a current ERC car? Maybe Eugene O'Donnelly is looking at Larrson's Fabia
