Meet the new 911, same as the old 911.

But no! It is all new, in most things if not the styling this time.

Mmmm, I want one, but I also want a late '60s series 2 or the 993. This might now be third in the 911 list.

Which for you?

Get the 60s series 2! At least you'll look like a car enthusiast rather than an engineering anorak.

Don't get me wrong, the modern 911's are good cars... but when the excitement of the new model reaches the heady hights of getting used to a box that won't let you go from 4th to 7th - (and who would want to except a motoring jorno pointing out an exciting feature he's missing) - time to choose a car with more soul I think.

This is the biggest change in the 911 since the 993 was discontinued. It's bigger and much faster than the 997. The engine is creeping its way forward by way of a thinner gearbox. It's a pretty interesting car.

That being said, I have never like Porsches... I just don't get it.

MJones94 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

I didn't see the point in what he said about the gearbox either!
