For Sale: Andy Priaulx's Hat!
In September of this year, Darren Lindsay was killed while competing at the Killalane road races in County Dublin, Ireland, leaving behind his wife Kerry and three young children Ben, Zak and Poppy.
This year at the press conference after the final round of the World Touring Car Championship in Macau, I asked the newly-crowned world champion, Andy Priaulx, for an item of memorabilia which we could auction for Darren’s family. Andy, a big bike racing fan, immediately agreed, and took off the cap he was wearing, the limited-edition one he had just worn to the podium and press conference!
