Did Xaus have a dud?
Did Xaus have a dud motor compared to Hodgson at Phillip Island?
Hodgson had alot more speed than anyone else in a straight line, Xaus was being drafted past by everyone else, while it seemed Hodgson could never be drafted pass, even by the likes of Chili and Lavilla, who had no trouble with Xaus. Xaus behind Hodgson and not being able to pass in the draft could be explained by different gearing, but the suspicion has got to be there, especially as if the difference was the gearing, the difference wouldn't show until they reached top end speed, and Xaus couldn't make much of an impression at all. What do you all think |

It was strange, I'll say that. But I would hope there is no alterior motive in the Ducati camp. These two are the only real title shots, so they should have equal equipment.
