I just heard that Panis has been knocked back to 7th place at Melbourne for passing under the yellow's.

Good news for Kimi Raikkonen as he is elevated to 6th bringing both Sauber's into the points. Frentzen goes to 5th.

After today's tradgic events, it was important for the FIA to be tough on such an important safety issue.

The BAR was definetly flying round that track, as were the Jordans. Race winning cars?

The cameras never showed this, and IMO a stop/go penalty would have been a better way of dealing with it. (I agree it should be penalized.) I'm not happy about it though, as I would have liked BAR to have a better start to the season. Good for Kimi though, scoring on his debut, in fact an excellent start for Sauber, with Heidfeld in 4th place as well (also his scoring debut, he didn't score at all last year in the Prost - who would have?).
