I'd say pay the money to a web host, as deviantart is OK, but hard to navigate...
I use Smugmug, and they seem OK, and very cheap. £15 a year, for unlimited image hosting...
There are others out there.
What gear are you using? The pix seem sharp and well exposed, but it's hard to tell from the thumbnail images?

Thanks for your thoughts. Iknow what you mean about DeviantArt, it's not the most user friendly page, takes some getting used to! Main reason I use them is that I'm a student and I've spent most of my money on rent and beer!

To answer your question, I use a Canon EOS 10D with a 70-200mm f2.8L and 1.4x converter, 28-105mm and EX550 flash. I bought that lot when I worked in a camera shop, needs updating now.

I'll check out Smugmug. Cheers

I wouldn't say your kit is that far off base. Yes, Canon have the 30D, but just how MUCH better is it for the money you'll need to shell out?
Judging by what I saw, you take a decent picture, so don't worry overmuch about the technicalities, worry about the 'art' side?

Maybe think about a 300 fixed, possibly a second body, but otherwise, I wouldn't spend much more.

Now THAT is a sentiment I totally agree with.
I spent 10-15 minutes panning the LMES guys down the Craners. I got maybe THREE shots I felt OK with.
Panning is omething you need to keep 'up to speed' with. Pun intended.

Good luck.
