Bishop Ranter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This is bringing back memories of working with Steve Ward to try and get backing to develop the Ralt F3 car. Somewhere I have a picture of a young Piquet in the car during a test. I will try and find it

One of my former students, Ashley Edwards, who now race engineers in WSR etc., was at Prometecme and spent a lot of time over at Lola helping develop the car Danny Watts drove as I recall. Chris Weller now works at the National College for Motorsport at Silverstone and no doubt has useful insight.

I remember reading about the Piquet ralt test, I think. Would love to know more about that car and why it never found favour at the time.

Piquet/Ralt was on the pace right? But they decided not to take the risk and bought a Dallara.. I remember the whole project being for sale by SW - but not sure if it ever got sold.

And how many Lola's were built for Jim Russell with a Duratec motor in them?

Not sure they "bought" the Dallaras - I think the Ralt showed promise and Dallara "bought" the Piquet's!!!!!!

The industry might have had a different shape if Piquet Sport had stuck with the Ralt.
