How do you recognise each other ?

Okay, we all know how good the trackside forum is for making new friends and arranging meetups. However, how do you go about locating someone who you've never met before when you're trackside ?

Mobile phone, pre-arranged meeting point, a red rose under the clock ? What do you mean they don't work ? Okay, I guess you could try this solution:

http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...threadid=10431

Enjoy!

Very stylish - love the kool shades L .

When I work out how much overdraft I have left after paying for Spa, the Donington Minardi day, the BTCC and lord knows what else, I will purchase a load of splendid Ten-Tenths togs.

The first Ten-Tenthsers I met were Woody and Carrie - and we found each other by standing up in Luffield grandstand at Silverstone and waving at each other. That poor bloke who thought they were waving at him...

Last year in Montreal, Jay and I pre-arranged a meeting place, just last week, Neil C and I resorterd to those silly 10/Tenths hats.

Who is the moderator of this forum? Will they sort out this advertising?

THR - I don't think anyone answered your question (you obviously haven't been to http://tentenths.com/gallery either, tut tut!). It is I and Craig.

Try looking for massive B&Q flags along with B&Q hats, loads of noise, plenty of air horns, silly hats and flashing head lights. That will the the crowd.

Hey Lorna, better late than never. Wasn't sure if it was the same Lorna when I met you all at Thruxton, still at least we know who each other are now.

Good to finally meet you for proper and thats again for the lifts on Saturday/Sunday morning. Donington can't come around quick enough for me now.

Hi folks

Well, I was at the Silverstone night race on Saturday and spent ages looking out for Ten-Tenths baseball caps and other things that might identify a few of you. But, I didn't see anybody. In the past, I've always spotted people (I think Carrie's been one of them) because they've been wearing their caps. I was sad as I was hoping to meet some of you properly, but I figured that none of you would know me from Adam anyway. There were a few people in Silverstone Racing Club's house that could have been 10-tenths members but I didn't want to wander up in case they weren't!
Anyway, even if you don't know me - everybody else does! Security at Silverstone know me (but don't throw me out) as do quite a few other people. Maybe we should all post pictures of ourselves on the site - is it possible to do that? - then you can all see what I look like and give me a wide berth! I don't think I am ugly but I am hardly pit babe material (unless they want a 5 foot 3 inch midget in a B&Q or Silverstone Racing Club hat waddling up and down the track)
Anyway, I hope to meet some of you properly some day. Hopefully soon - I shall be at the Silverstone test on 13 June and at the Grand Prix in July (all three days). Alternatively, I could buy myself a Ten-Tenths hat (and all the other gear) - stand out from the crowd a bit.

Best wishes

Suzy

Suzy, we've been know to inhabit the SRC, at least when we behave and Woody invites us in. Don't know if any of us were in there this weekend. Try tentenths.com/gallery for some pics.
