It's on it's way to a museum!

According to a report on teletext, earlier today Richard Noble said Thrust SSC was loaded on a trailer awaiting the journey to it's new home. This will be the Museum of British Road Transport in Coventry.
When Thrust will arrive there wasn't mentioned.

To quote auto express :

World land speed record-holding car Thrust SSC has found a new home. The supersonic machine that hit 771mph in 1997 has been bought by the Museum of British Road Transport in Coventry, thanks to a National Lottery grant and a loan from the city's council.Since its famous run, the 54-foot long, 11-tonne vehicle has been in storage in Surrey. SSC joins Thrust 2, the car it replaced as the record holder, which is already at the museum.

Thrust 2
when I worked in a computer centre near Walsall, we used to work on our cars sometimes at night in the workshop next door. For a few evenings I worked on my Minivan & next to it was Thrust 2 which was being worked on in there in the day.....
