Saw one of the new Maserati Quattroportes at the weekend, very discrete. Also saw my first Porsche 997.

Somewhere, I've got photos of the 250LM outside my house, but in the meantime, this will have to do.

Lambo Gallardo going the other way tonight. Had to stop on a steep hill behind another car, & give it a decent rev to move off - sounded fantastic! Just checked, 28 Lamborghinis sold year to date for the whole country, no wonder you rarely see them.

Also a black Bentley Continental GT at the Sandown Historic Races on the weekend, but that's not really driving around.

My old MK1 Lotus Cortina, you could hang the tail out as long as you were not looking out the rear window it would come back!

The other day I saw a 288 GTO here. But probably the most amusing was seeing a F40 stopped in the highway with its huge trunk open showing a smoking engine... embarassing I suppose!

When I seen a DB9 just a few days after its release driving around, that was something special.

And this chap, who had a Seat Cordoba, turned the front of it into a BMW 3-Series and coloured it Black+Orange.

It was a disaster but I feel proud to say I witnessed that terrible piece of "pimping".

I was mooching around the Castle Combe paddock on the Saturday night of an F3/GT meeting. I spotted a road going TVR Tuscan R behind a truck. The thing that cought my eye was the most amazing paint job I've ever seen. It was a gorgeous subtle pearlescent Red/Yellow mix that was just hypnotic.

After Mrs Cr0w & I had been spotted drooling for a few minutes, a passing mechanic mentioned "Oh, that's Peter's new motor". I suspect he meant Peter Wheeler.

There used to be a knackered Jag XJ6 hand painted in Silk Cut colours that was driven to La Sarthe each year - about 10-12 yrs ago. Seminal

I saw a Lamborghini Murciellago on the M5 in traffic during the summer, I've also seen a couple of Vipers on the M'ways here, including one in traffic where the nose seemed to arrive 5 minutes before the driver did, that front end is insanely long!!!

The best thing I seen...

A BigDog "Bull Dog" motorcycle - sort of a Harley clone with testicles.

Forgot to mention that I've seen several Continental GTs in Knutsford, Cheshire. The warehouse where I buy my Hockey equipment from is two units down from Bentleys finishing location!!!

Saw a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo in the centre of Leeds while lugging 'supplies' home from Morrisons a couple of weeks ago - it was gorgeous!

A couple months ago in Philadelphia I saw a sleek red Ferrari 308 cruising past Independance Hall.

At the ALMS Mosport race in 2003, there was a street-going Noble M12(?) parked in the lot; in the paddock, Ferrari of Washington brought in a red Enzo for people to gawk at.

There is a guy who lives in my old neighborhood who drives a red Viper RT/10.

Every now and then, driving around town I see a guy with a Testarossa as well.

I live in the country so I dont see many exotics but I was waiting to cross the road the other day and a modified Porsche GT2 996 just flew past. It must of been competing in a rally or something similar cause it was covered in stickers, rollcage, tow hook etc. Sounded great. Put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

Also seen a yellow Murcielago and a red Ferrari 360 Modena in Melbourne CBD parked next to each other, very nice indeed. One's nice, seeing both was great.

Living in Wilmslow I suppose I get to see alot of exotica knocking around. Typical example is the Bentley Continental GT - beautiful car, my favourite marque, can't criticise it at all, but... I'm sick of the sight of 'em!!

What that does mean though (and in many ways this is a good thing), is that it takes something really special to turn my head - a rare pristine classic or a properly exotic supercar... I will never tire of seeing a Murcielago, or (funnily enough) a new Rolls Royce Phantom, and I long for the day that I see (and hear!) a Pagani Zonda.

fave car

ok so you may think this is weird. but a mate of my step dads has a skyline dun up to its eye balls.
its a 1.8 engine and looks sort of rubbish on the outside, but when you get in you can notice a complete difference. this 1.8 can hit 200 easily. theres a switch he can flip to make flames come out da back. but the best thing i love bout it is the spoiler, and something simlple as the dump valve. i love the sound it makes when he changes gear.
this car would have to be me fave.

On the way to Philip Island on Sunday for the historic races I spotted what I think was an ASA 1000GT (the mini Ferrari), of which I think 1000 were built.

hi there

well on the A14 about 3 weeks ago a bright orange Plymouth Roadrunner only doing about 50mph
today, parked up a late model Firebird
used to see in town occasionally a green 1959 Plymouth Fury

at the moment in town there is a 1965 Ford Corsair that hasn't seen daylight for at least 15 yrs (so its probably just a pile of rust and bits now)
there is a VW Karmann Ghia convertible that hasn't moved for donkeys years
also a 1950's Cadillac convertible thats being restored
and my 1956 Chevrolet thats been asleep in the garage for 7 yrs

think thats all round here
