Well his Pukekohe 'upgrade' (for which he was well paid as an advisor) isn't exactly seen as having been a positive legacy by the local fraternity.

Given his business "success" with HRT and the supposedly much cheaper "COTF" Skaife would be the last person in the paddock to get business advice from.However if it gets him out of that commentary booth I am all for it.His blokey hyperbole makes him easily the weak link in the tv commentary team.I long for the good old days of 2015 when they chained him to the desk so we weren't exposed to the 10 cliche vocabulary he fills his race commentary with.
