Erebus has been quick in a straight line most of the year, but seemed to struggle to get the power down off the corners to use it... finally, this seems to be coming good...

This one... arguably doesnt..



You might have thought that the original paint scheme could be revisited for the B1000, with Norton in place of the Winfield branding... given the attention given to Norton's 'Tru Blu' last year, they may have been open to the concept

I think the other way around. The old GTR as a car looks good but the livery was bland then and has got worse was time, its only that it invokes a memory that it looks good.

on the other hand we are comparing a 2 door to a family car so (in my opinion) it will look tough because of that

Yeah, but they followed the concept of simple design, recognisable colours. It worked for all the ciggie brands.

agreed, didnt make it a tough looking livery though, just a red car with some white writing.

most mum and dad small business use the same idea even now

i guess it does have those fancy white wheels though

Both designs are simple and iconic. Still remembered and recogniseable some 20 years later.

Pretty sure the norton car won't be in 20 yrs time. Similar to the Pepsi max falcons or Fujitsu commodores

So what you are saying DRT is you wont be able to read the words Norton on it?

What wre there 3 GTR in all, makes theme asy to remember, nothing to do with the design though, just that there were hardly any and so easy to remember

4 different paint schemes all up, if you include the GIO car.

Anyone that has some idea about touring car racing in Australia, could probably give you a pretty good description of what each car looked like, off the top of their head.

same same for a lot of overseas categorys, sponsors either follow a driver or a set team, there is plenty of changes every couple of years, and depending on how marketing of there brand , dictates the coulour scheme, but some are pointed towords colour schemes that suit TV broadcasts as well,
