Millions wasted with a redundant F1 team which is being publicly humbled by the customer is no joke by anyone's metric. Even if the impact in cost-terms is negligible, politics will come into play. I learnt that from Ford/Jaguar with refreshers in the examples of Cadillac and now Peugeot.
