Can you add a "none of the above" option to the poll? It seems to me that none of them teams work together as a team actually. Perhaps with the exception of Ferrari, who teamed to give Leclerc a pole position by using Sainz in Q3. But then again they fuxored the race.

Mercedes. Vastly improved, with a result that shows it.

I too would vote "none of the above".
Mercedes maximized their chances, but not due to their own strengths. They would still have finished behind both Ferrari's. So the only thing they actually did was beat 1 Red Bull car. Not really THAT special, right? Noty that any other team did anything special. So, "none" would be my vote. |

Mercedes was definitely on the cards for me, because it was a further improvement in results, even if it didn't look like they did anything superspecial. In the end I voted for Alpine who also out-performed recent results and got the jump on McLaren as a result.

Alpine has improved a lot, while McLarren have not improved as much and their performance today was good. But, I think the main reason they succeeded so well this time was Fernando Alonso. He is still a tsunami of a racing driver. He lifts that team higher.
But, the team that I vote for, Mercedes, have good strategy, good leadership and two drivers who both are outscoring the car. They are the world champions many times over for a reason. They have pulled together fantastically. Sure, they would have scored lower positions if Ferrari had been less catastrophical, but the team is something to behold. Mercedes it is. |

Ferrari have 2 drivers with great talent and hunger
but some of the pit crew and managers must be getting paid by Christian or Toto in paper bags full of cash. Its like they genuinely DONT want to win! "oh no we are in front.. .quick someone do something!" Carlos even had to tell them the penalty rules while he was driving. #keystoneF1 Last edited by bathurst77; 26 Jul 2022 at 03:23. |

Mercedes for me, planning was concise considering the limitations of the car.

Yeah, that say so much about Carlos as a driver. He is so methodical, he cross the t and dot the i. Their driver lineup is amazingly good. |
