Peace in our time?
I did think the FOTA plan was possibly a plot to get rid of Max. Don't slam the door on your way out! |

Well he hasn't been kicked out,and appears to have got pretty much what he wanted.
It was always the most likely scenario. |

So it looks like we still have the Poison dwarf running the show.
So much for better ticket prices, no venues with hardly any spectators and a fairer distribution of revenues. |

A sad day not seeing the breakaway happen, F1 to be as political as ever overshadowing the actual racing. (if we can call it that!)

It's probably for the best.
My money is on Jean Todt to replace him. |

Interesting that as yet FOTA don't appear to have said anything. I'd have expected a joint statement if agreement had been reached.

I don't want Jean Todt to get it, I just think he will get it. Who knows, he might do a great job.

If true, what a sad day it is. The FOTA had the oppertunity to get rid of Ecclestone.

Jean Todd?
If it turns out to be true would that mean we might already guess which team will win the 2010 championship? I hope it's someone else, depending on who of course I just wonder what the trade off is re: FIA and FOTA actually agreeing, but good point Cynic. |

No breakaway series and Max leaving, a reduction of costs in two years... yep most likely.
uhn... there's more to come... more to come. |

Right, joking aside I'd give the job to the guy who was responsible for the manufacturer interests back in the group c days. I always thought he did pretty well. Damn, now where I need the name badly I fail to remember it |
