How is the Calander maintained? Are events added and who can add them?

I've not used it in years, but have the ability to add things. Not sure if all users can add or only mods
|

The events calendar hasn't been updated in many years, and to be honest, I've not looked at it for many years.
Maintaining calendar privileges can certainly be added to individual users. |
