Hi, where can I get any information on the COB? i.e. entry forms, costs, dates, etc.

Also, is this an open championship or do you need to join a particular racing club? If so, which one?

Apologies if these questions have already been answered ealier in the thread, and i couldn't find anything on several internet searches or any other probable website, if someone could point me in the right direction i would be greatful

For those of you on Facebook you can follow 'my' antics in this year's CoB by becoming a Fan of Team Zugattio Racing. I am working with Students of Northbrook College's Foundation Degree in Motorsport Engineering.

Maybe we should start a CoB Round 2 Thread now!!!

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Boys Im back in town
!!
I had a hoot at CoB
i dipped my toe in water at mallory mid week 2 wet sessions &1 dry so i gotta feel for my toy
i entered the CoB night before Mallory test met JEB at my mechanics shop parted with entry fee etc had a chat seems JEB was expecting some irish lads and 20 entries but that didnt happen 16 was still good enough
for next race on GP track seems there are 5 dutch lads keen to come even given him blank entry forms!!

back to teh Cob race
well i knew i was not going to be the reserve Mclaren test driver after my MP test but i had a "gauge" on what my target time should be as my aim was not to beach the car bend it or make a total Richard the 3rd outtta myself in qualifying by trying to get pole!
I did actually better my target time and considering i was "rusty" and not comfortable in the car having ate way tooo many pies with barrels of beer i was " happy" with my position of 13th on grid and only 2.4 seconds of pole
goes to show what pie eating cn do for lap times
I was 1. 2 ish behind that mean lean racing snake of Jon Davis ( i have actually managed to pee wider than his hips) but i made some how a good start and jumped 2 full rows of the grid into Paddock and with tehj damp off line i knew it would not be easy for the guys who where fatsre in quli than me to pass me easily
I held of the streak of **** Davis for 5 or 6 laps giving him an education of being fat does not mean i dont know the defensive racing line when i see it
many a time he was alongside into paddock but being on the outside he was doomed to failure as i know his gonnads where not as big as my belly to out do me
Boy did i laugh to myself!!!
I knew it was in evitable he would get passed i was just not going to roll over and let him have it
then next i had the next guy hounding me and he must have been even more irritated with me as he was alongside me 3 times into paddock and ONCE ahead of me but i kept him at bay till the last lap when i screwed up out of clearways and he got the jump on me over start finiish line!

I thoroughly enjoyed the scrapping and i heard there where scraps at 1- 2 and 3 4 5 places

SO to all those guys with pre 90 cars in sheds dont be shy there will be someone to race with numbers are needed on the grid so c mon down and race

I even got my name in the Buckingham local newspaper couresty of JEB who givethem some info
so support JEB in his quest he is working hs toe nails off and I have spoken with some useful "suppliers" to see if i can get some small sponsorship deal for us may not be much in the way of $$ but anything will help and also give some benefit to JEB and some lineage in autosport motoring news etc towards the series

I plan to race next saturday at semsec lydden for some fun
you coming Davs or do u wanna sit at home an eat pies!

[QUOTE=driftwood;2470799]Trevor stiles has NO interest to drive race car again.

Old racers never die. Saw Trevor Racing at Timaru in New Zealand just Yesterday. Out here for the summer and racing a 92 VD.
