dikko should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Subject completely off topic; unless you drink tea and go historic racing....:)

Hospitality water boiler needed for the Historic Formula Ford bunch, got one?

Does anyone have a good, serviceble, at least 10 litre, gas operated water boiler selling at a reasonable price at all at all?
We are trying to get a hospitality thing going and need it to make the odd cuppa and coffee at race meetings and charity BBQ we do for 60 peeps or so.
Anyone in need of ridding themselves of one that can be resurrected to safe state?
If you do, you will ALWAYS have a brew waiting for you at ANY HSCC meet...howabouthatforhospitality?

They seem to be in the region of £200... It might take a few cuppas to pay for......Also......
Any decent easy-ups selling or recommended, i.e. not like the ones you see sticking out of wheelie bins at the end of a windy race meeting?...

I got an electric one off ebay for about £40 brand new. Was listed as a kettle rather than a water boiler. We use it in the camper when we know we're going to have lots of 'visitors'.

We looked at a company called CMN Online when we were searching for something similar. You're sure to find the tea urn of your dreams there Dick.

Cheers Alan, CMN have one for £270...you know how tight us racers are... How much can I charge for a cuppa AND profit to pay for it? Welding torch does sound an attractive answer......

Even a 2kw genny cost a fortune and that would hardly power a vibrator !

Or Dollys electric air pump

Having weathered umpteen pricehikes from BOC in the last few years I'd wager a wind farm and/or solar panels would be a cheaper investment than the welding torch option

You are not wrong there Zef what a bloody company they are and they also sent me a bill for 15 quid for late payment, never ever had that before!

Hey you could by an Irish Travellers Tilly Kettle. You just fill the outer section up with bracken and twigs and light it, wait about two hours and get a nice hot cuppa!

Mr Miller's various empires 'sponsored' (or promised to at least...) pretty much everything in British racing Clive from mid-74 to late 75.

Also the BTCC in 1975, Miller and co took a customer of mine (same surname as me) to the cleaners who had a keyboard/organ shop in Tunbridge Wells at the time.

Picture is of Andy Rouse in that Championship.

Well, I knew you'd all go off the boil but the hot news is...we have a sponsor for our tea urn!
The Company's name will be blazed in glory at some point in the season.
One down, a couple of other purchases to go...

An Easy-up. Some chairs, a tasty waitress and attractive biscuits (I think that should that be the other way round) would all help. Donations to Historic Formula Ford Champ Co-ord.
