Circuit Design by Region

I just want the kind gents of the most relevant forum to compile a list of characteristics of circuits by their location.

Per exemplari Brazilian circuits tend to have an exterior portion that winds inside of itself in the middle portion, often with an exterior short circuit available as well.

Spanish tracks usually have a lot coming back on themselves, turn-wise.

In a lot of ~180 degree (total) sequences. They can get tiresome in some cars.

Argentinian circuits have very long straights. Sometimes they have only fast corners, sometimes they have hairpins and esses. Usually they have huge grass runoff areas.

French circuits tend to have straights that are longer than their start-finish straight.

British tracks are either twisty with lots of elevation (Knockhill, Cadwell Park) or fast with almost no eleavtion (Silverstone, Snetterton).

Germany's tracks are more geometric, having straights in between each corner and having constant radius corners. Newer German tracks tend to have little to no elevation.

Japanese tracks tend to use as little space as possible.

Parkland or Airfield based is a very clear distinction in UK circuits

American circuits tend to have many winding, but fast, corners, and long straights, rarely broken by chicanes. The exception, of course, is Circuit of the Americas, which is about as Tilke-esque as possible.

Circuits in Monaco in general are quite twisty, with little run-off. Interesting is that at most Monegasque tracks, spectators can view the action from a boat. A boat!

Most good U.S. circuits are notable for their distinct lack of Indycar.
