Lola T292 HU 49

I've been impressed by the conversation regarding Lola T280's, and the collective knowledge of the participants. In hopes that similar interest an information is available regarding Lola T292's I enter the following plea.

Can anyone recommend sources, references or data regarding ownership or race history for T292's? I currently own and race HU 49 with a Cosworth Vega (not the original engine). I have the Certificate of Origin, I know that the car was consigned to Jo Bonnier in 1973, and I have a log book from 1985 on. But I have no information between 1973 and 1985.

Thank you for your help

Thanks for responding.

In the mid 80's HU 49 was owned in succession by Raffaelle Mattiello of Francolise, Gianni Cossu of Macomer, and Giovanni Pagnucci of Lucca. During that period it was raced at Varano, Popli, Cuglieri, Teulada, Ortabene, Pergusa, Todi, Nuoro, Cossa del sud, Gonone and several other Italian circuits and hill climbs. I have no record of how it performed. However, I do have photographs of the car in it's Macomer Racing Team livery.

In the 1990's HU49 was purchased by Paolo Casazza. I do not know if he raced the car.

In 1997, HU49 was puchased in Italy by Tom Black and Tom Kreger. They restored the care and replaced the hill climb engine (an Alfa 2.5L V6) with a proper Cosworth Vega. They have raced the car on the West Coast and now I am doing the same.
