The race of Germany 2015

before we start i just need to say this if you are planning to watch these races please make sure you watch them on SATURDAY as that race day.

I have a few questions, any replacement in the yellow Lada, is Rydall fix to start and as this is Nurburgring will rain play its part? also the reason for just 3 laps x 2 is very clear, its part of the Nurburgring 24 hour support program meaning its the very long track in action (just a reminder we had a sad event here just a few weeks ago with a fan) so hopefulyy we talk about the racing this week

Jaap van Lagen will replace Thompson at Lada. He's confirmed for the Nurburgring, no news regarding the rest of the season yet.

Rickard Rydell and Nika Racing to miss third weekend in a row in Germany

Lada down to two cars for the Nürburgring Nordschleife

Proteam missing as well, so that means only 17 (of 21 available) TC1 cars on the Nordschleife. *sigh*

Don't understand that either. Nika has Honda Sweden support so they probably might enter a driver without the budget requiered

Perhaps they're afraid of damage with an unexperienced driver? Marrakech and the Nordschleife are most definitely high-risk tracks.

Lopez on top in FP0. The field seems to be closer this time. Valente continues his good run

Oh, can it rain in qualifying too? It definitely spices up the competition. Lada 1-2 in FP1

By the way, the coverage looks quite good at the moment, only the northern part of the lap is beyond the cameras. Live FP2 will be also at fiawtcc.com

I know that the car she's in is very different from what she's used to, and that it's also not the strongest car in the field, but I'm still surprised Sabine Schmitz was as low as she was. slower than D'Aste even? I expected P11 or P12. her experience on the track has got to count for something

A really good result by Valente again. I wonder if he will be snapped up by the JAS Honda works team, as Tarquini looks more and more like a driver who needs to retire.

PS: I think it's weird that a socalled fever can make Rydell stay out for 3 rounds. Something smells fishy!

It's not just about driving 3 (very long!) laps, it is about doing it flat out with 16 madman around you. That is quite a risky and possibly very expensive thing in its own right. I think it's a very responsible thing to do.

That back straight can potentialy produce awesome slipstreaming finishes in the future, but the difference between Citroen and the rest on the straight should be less. I've enjoyed the races, but VERY dissapointed in terms of results. In any case, congrats to Pechito, he was incredible on this track

Pechito now has joined Fangio, Reutemann and the 1969 Torino crew into the Argentinians that shone on the Nordschleife.

Citroens ran very light on downforce, according to Muller, so the advantage might not be just engine related
