A9X Question
Just finished reading issue 97 of AMC magazine, and the article on the first and last Torana A9X.
Why was the Torana not permitted to to run A9X specifications in the 1980 season, but instead run with LX SS specifications? |

From what I remember, Holden had never built enough cars in "A9X" spec to be able to be homologated for the new 1980 rules, but Holden had built enough LX SS models, so hence they had to run them.
