Only 3 weeks til the V8Supercar join us again from the place of pace, at Eastern Creek Raceway... Mr Rust called it Eastern Creek on today's commentary too..

The Arnott's bikkie factory is back online too, so there should be plenty of nice baking aromas in the air... it might inspire a few people to go watch...

Three races for this SuperSprint round of the V8SC Championship series, 2x 60km races on Saturday (one hard tyre, one soft tyre), 1x 200km race on Sunday (hard & soft tyres).

Can PRA keep up their record of being fast in pretty much every session here? Will it be Mr Mostert, Mr Winterbottom or Mr Reynolds setting the pace here at this tricky venue to get right? PRA seem to have their stuff together at the moment, will be hard to beat...

Will 888 *finally* roll out one of their new cars to give Mr Whincup one last gasp for the title? Will Mr Whincup be asked to move over to give his compatriot a shot at more points?

Will LDM get through a weekend without a mechanical failure, or a door falling off? Will Mr Percat finally smile at something?

Will DJRTP give Mr Ambrose a drive at the Creek? In a race.

Will Nissan get through a race weekend without talking about their engine upgrades coming for Sandown?

Will Tekno get thru a race weekend without a driveline failure?

Only a few weeks til we find out for sure...

Mr Ambrose admitted in the broadcast at the weekend that he still isnt quite match fit in these CotF cars. Doesnt make a load of sense to keep him out of a car when the team potentially risks their enduro package because of it..

Expect BJR to bounce back ,they were strong at SMP last year. Looking forward to this one on one of my favourite tracks.

His Practice Times were spot on compared to Pye in practice Friday until the later bolted on some used soft tyres.

I'm not sure the reality is matching the perception they are trying to maintain.

There is a big screen teev showing Eastern Creek 2003 where I am having lunch now. Its awesome to be reminded just how amazing those SBR Falcons were, out in front and seemingly doing it easily.

Given only 3000 people in Sydney watched the Fox live telecast of QR level of interest might be low.Total national Fox numbers were 45000 the lowest for any V8 round so far.
GT's should be great.

Yes that was painful and they don't seem to have an alternative to improve it.

The free for all and roadside parking as well as general parking inside the circuit worked much better than the various traffic management plans put in place at V8's and MCM since 2012.If you are an ARDC member you are allowed to park near Turn 2 while to miss the traffic you need to pay the $50 for 3 days to park at top of main straight.Although last year they didn't open this gate on Sunday until just before first race and traffic was backed up about a kilometre to get into this area.

Didn't Penske/Cindric come out at the kick off for DJRTP to say they did not want to fund the entry and wanted commercial sponsorship? Apart from Shell, when has this happened this year?

I dont ever remember that said, In fact i thought there intention was to promote penske brands

I don't have an issue with the rotating liveries. It keeps the series looking fresh, and in the news to an extent.
