World League Racing - Hot Hatch Cup!

Well hello gents! I'd like to announce the first World League Racing series for Forza 4, the tenth season of the Hot Hatch Cup.

The car choice for the coming season will be a tough one, all the cars run very similar times and are great fun to drive. You can choose from the Chevrolet Spark, Citroen C1, Ford Ka, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo, Vauxhall Agila and Volkswagen Fox. The PI is set to C400, with the build regulations featuring mandatory full race platform and handling. Engine mods, tyre size and width are open, as are the choice of alloys (apart from not allowing bling rims) Tuesday's 10pm slot will be the home for these little beasts.

The Hot Hatch competition page is located > HERE <, remember to check out the > CALENDAR < and the > BUILD REGULATIONS <. Enter your own team via your Drivers Office, or keep an eye on the Entries page for an advertised drive in another team.

Take a look and I hope to see some of you online soon. There's often a lobby open with admins or members running around, so check out the website. There's a few more series in the pipeline for the coming weeks as well.

This starts tomorrow and it's looking to be a busy race! These cars are great fun, I don't often run in low PI cars but these are close.

World League Racing is coming up to holding its 1,500th race, not bad for an organization that began in mid-'08! There are several new series currently being developed for Forza 4, i'm working on a new season of the retro-themed Will Hoy Memorial Trophy, as well as the WorldLeagueRacing Touring Car Championship. The US Muscle Cup is deep in its testing, Clio World Tour and 70's Cup are on the horizon, and the Clubman Cup will be appearing on Gran Turismo 5. Busy times ahead!

Tonight sees the start of the Yunzei Super Cup, running some retro Jap RWD beasties. Should be a lot of fun! Races are run Thursday nights at 10pm.

Also coming up is the US Muscle Cup, with a massive 25 old school American muscle cars to choose from, take a look! These run on Monday nights at 10pm, after the Evo Cup races, and start on the 2nd January.

The popular WorldLeagueRacing Touring Car Championship is close to being announced, that should be starting mid-to-late January, promising the usual close racing from the tin top field. These will run at 10pm, with the day yet to be confirmed.

Last, but by no means least, is our feeder series, the Evo Tuning Cup. It's only open to our Novice and Rookie license holders and also lets the drivers use some of the driver assists, which means it's a perfect route into our racing league. This season will be run using the Mk2 Golf GTI, featuring a fixed build to keep the field nice and tight. This starts on Monday 9th January, at 8pm.

Come and check us out. If you like fair, fast, friendly racing, you'll find plenty of it here!
