The IC should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
yeah, that photo does look fairly similar to the showcar Toyota had in thailand, the exhaust coming out the side looks like the only difference

its for Supercar Thailand, i doubt any part of that car would have been designed for SuperGT rules

i would guess the GT300 GT86 is going to look similar to the BRZ and the other purpose built GT300 cars, with big box flares and open rear ends etc., thats how the rules make them turn out

CRZ: (1100kg=27.1mm*2/ 1150kg-27.7mm*2/ 1200kg=28.2mm*2) + Hybrid System Weight 57kg

It looks like Hondas hybrid is lighter but maybe not as strong as Prius? Interesting restrictor sizes between the 2.

Thanks for that. Nice video from the driver's perspective, its good that we are seeing more driver's view footage aired. I really like that steering wheel, as has been mentioned before its like having an ipad in the middle of the wheel Dont worry about having telemetry on the screen, I can actually read some of the figures off the wheel

the lfa GT500 had to debut since 2010... in my opinion TRD will keep on using the SC430 until new regulamentations will be introduced.

What're you talking about? The LFA wasn't even for sale until late 2011! They're 2012 2013 models, not 2010.

well in my "parallele universe" the production of the already sold and planned 500 units of LFA started in december 2010 and the deliveries to customers started in may 2011. But is not a secret that the model shown during the tokyo motor show 2009 was the definitive one!
for this reason after the win of 2009 GT500 by the tom's lexus #36 more than rumor (someone by trd itself) reported that a lfa gt500 model was going to replace the sc430 for the 2010 season. Similiar rumors there were also before 2011 season but the sc430 still hang on. For this reason i'm sure that TRD and tom's will continue to support and develope the sc430 to introduce a lfa gt500 model only after a radical change of rules.
If you talk about 2012 or 2013 model, well, this simply doesn't mean a thing in GT500, where honda teams run with a car that hasn't even a road counterpart. Actually a lfa GT500 will be just a different bodykit for the carbon chassis currently used for the sc430 gt500.

The SC430 has run it's course, it's last model year is now almost 3 years ago. It is time to replace it. There is a rule as to how long you can use a car not in production, correct?

Maybe...it took Honda 4 years to replace the NSX though...

Rumors of Lexus producing the LF-LC in the next 2 to 3 years are popping up now too...that'd be a good replacement aswell if it happens...
