The HSCC Histeric Formula Ford Series would like to say...
THANKS
To all you guys a gals who this year have stood in the rain, hot sun and everything in between and looked after us in the HSCC races and in particular the Historic Formula Ford bunch. We really do appreciate your care and attention, the blue, green and yellow (and any other strange-looking) flags that have helped us on our way with our series. At the end of the race it is difficult to relay a BIG thank you, we wave, we point, we do anything but it is difficult to try to say with our hands that; "you are a great bunch of people and without you we would feel very nervous doing what we do THANK YOU ALL". Have a good winter and hope to have fun again with you in 2015. If this helps; VERY provisional HSCC calendar for 2015 Thrux Ap 4/5 or 18/19 Sil GP May 16/17 Don May 31 Snett June 6/7 or 13/14 Cad and Brands June20/21 or 27/28 or July 11/12 Croft Aug 7/8 OP Aug 29/31 Brand Sept 26/27 Sil Oct 17 Regards, Dick Dixon Drivers rep. |

I like HSCC because the racing is always better than I expect. For some reason (probably because I don't go for Vintage) I have fairly average expectations on the way there which are massively surpassed on the day. Finals day was, as usual, a thoroughly entertaining and competitive meeting. Many thanks for the entertainment and for all the slow-down lap waving. Shall definitely be back for next year.

"The HSCC Histeric Formula Ford Series"
What an appropriate typo! Thanks for some great, if not exactly hysterical, racing. |

Thanks Dick, always good to see the HFF, good to meet up with some of you on Saturday evening. Best race of the day at HSCC finals was for the lead of the HFF race.
Hopefully see you at Walter Hayes Trophy. |

A pleasure as always - well, mainly Faye but you have your moments too..!
On a not unconnected note... I suddenly had a thought (happens not too often) The Historic FF Series may be looking to fund some helpers for our tea/coffee/biscuit/cake/soup/bacon butty or BBQ kitchen. We are finding it too much prepping cars and sorting the above out a bit too hectic at times...sometimes forgetting to put petrol in... Subject to what money we raise in the kitty we are in need of someone or two to look after our - what we laughingly call - a Hospitality Marquee....the marquee bit is the humorous part being a 3X5 easy-up. There's a gas boiler to keep topped up and cups to stop being blown away etc and look after stuff described above. I wonder? Would there be any marshalls partners who might be free enough to help us provide for our friendly bunch of Formula Forders? There would be a fixed fee budget to pay for time spent. Just a sudden thought... 01920 871153 Dick D. |
