Round 1 Results
Well that was one heck of a race. Lots of points to be scored, and some people did quite well. But we started out this year with not much change from last year - FordCosworthPanoz won round 1 with 38 pts. He really scored well on the ALMS picks, but like many of us the WEC picks proved more difficult.

As usual there were some interesting scores as well. For instance, only cptkablamo was brave enough to pick Dyson for the win in P1, FCP was the only one who picked PC and GT correctly in the ALMS, Gingers4Justice was the only one to pick the GTEam winner, but perhaps the strangest result was that only fieldofdreams79 picked the McNish/Capello/Kristensen car for the LMP1 victory.

The average score for the round was 20.6 for the 22 participants. I have pasted the scores below and if you find an error in your score please let me know. I can't wait to see how everyone does in round 2!

Geez, I thought people here were smart and knew that Audi with McNish, Dindo and TK are usually a "contender".
Guess there was concerns with traffic/audi...

Must admit, I'd feared someone might have got the championship all but wrapped up after 1 round with so many points on offer....not the case, which is good for competition.

Scored better than I expected...

I wanted to pick the McNish/Capello/Kristensen Audi, but I picked them several times last year thinking "they have had a bad run, they will be determined to redeem themselves" only to be wrong every time, so I decided against it this time.
