Frontal decision by FIA, IMHO
I have the same though, but...
I regret deeply the decision made by FIA, that sacked Ide in that form. One thing is "suggest" Super Aguri to move Ide out from his titular ride, but other, more sensible, is taking off his super-licence. Aguri don't have a 3rd car running on GPs, and their tests are very scarce. Removing Ide of 2nd car would have been enough to get him out of F1. There wasn't any need of revoking his super-licence. Exigence in a series that pretends to be the best of the world is understandable, but at least they should have been more politically correct if they wanted to get Ide out of F1. |
