I suppose time is the factor as they managed the full meeting yesterday and were done by 5.30pm. |

Seems the SRGT boys got the better deal.
It is quite ironic that there were 3 red flags in succession as we were told that the "grab" would be in operation to minimise stoppages. Last edited by jamesholland; 23 Jun 2008 at 13:02. |

OK maybe £205 for 10 laps is correct but as they only had 4 then surely they should be rebated 6 laps worth at £20.50 a lap i.e. £123. I know the track owners and clubs cannot be held responsible for the weather and these things happen but as many (read most I think our race was the only one to go the distance or at least up till that time and we were race 7) races were cut short then surely they had enough time for a restart after just 4 laps of a 10 lap race. If as in the case of the other races it had gone 6 laps then no case to answer and fair enough but surely after 4 laps that cannot be right.

The SRGT boys were over half distance when the red flag was given. With any other club it would have been finish there and then. |

snatch wouldn't have helped in our race James as a Ambulance was required.
but as you say as we had only just passed 1/2 distance. |

Two things: When you enter a race meeting you know that precisely what you have described can happen - it is a risk you take in that knowledge. In any case, your 'rebate' doesn't take account of the time spent qualifying, and the down time following your races. If you *were* going to apply that you'd probably find you might get 10 minutes out of 55 (for a typical qually/race set up) back - maybe £35. |

IF I am correct, how do they restart something like that? But did I wish it had gone on for a while longer. |
