Greg Ritter is pretty clever to be driving with both Frosty and Adam Macrow

I wonder if Warren Luff knew he would be paired with Jose when he signed for Britek

Would he perchance share the same surname as the driver you idolise? If so, he's about 16 and yet to prove himself in even Aussie Race Cars. I doubt Rod Nash would even think about putting the young boke in the car - unless of course DD (Daddy Dumbrell) agreed to fully underwrite any and every damage bill!

We've barely settled the championship drives yet? And how many of the regulars who start the season will even be around come enduro time?

Will Brabham return to FPR? He has left Prodrive/Aston Martin to race for Multimatic in a Panoz in the ALMS this year. After getting the boot i hardly think Ritter would be near a seat in #5 come enduro time, and after a poor 2005 season, why would 888 hire him?

I'd like to see 888 give their BTCC driver Tom Chilton a go. Before anyone writes him off as a 2 litre FWD ******, he won a round each of the ALMS and LMES last year in a Prototype, so RWD and some horsepower isn't foreign to him. Muller worked for them last year, why not again.

And seeing as the BTCC doesn't clash with Bathurst this year, it allows Matt Neal and Jason Plato to return for a steer

Far be it from me to meddle in Aussie matters, but David Brabham has been quoted as stating his relationship with Prodrive is still excellent. Since he has previously flitted into and out of their 550 program I see no reason for this not to be the case. That man is incredible at dipping toes in the water at various programs in the sportscar world while never seeming to offend anybody.

Ritter won't be at 888. It will most probably be an international but it's yet to be decided.

Very true, a gifted individual is DB.
I had the pleasure of working for him and his brother in 97 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

One thing for sure is that there are some handy steerers looking for an enduro drive. Tiko i don't think Paul Morris will be in 021.

Ah I remember it well, that fateful day at Oran Park.. the shining, brand new VX Commodore, still yellow, but with the Sirromet branding appearing for the first time.

I was busy with another Qld team at the time (waves at Bap) but recall seeing the new beast in the garage. Even then Cepe built a great car, just beautiful, till the Pom took it for a burl.. and smacked the wall with it.. christening it once and for all...

Wonder where that chassis is now? Is that the Autobarn car for this year?

I'm Excited!
