There was a similar story in yesterday's Daily Telegraph in Sydney with Morris saying he wants more major events and that they have to up their spending from $50m as states like Victoria have a budget of $100m for tourism - wonder what he is waiting for then??

MN Stop Press today reports that the expected announcemenht of the calendar at Sandown is OFF. They have until Friday 8 to get it to CAMS and Cattach says 'its not finished' !!! Still working on Sydney street race deal according to MN
